What you get
Solid Eastern White Pine, single-line carved letters
Letter: unpainted natural pine — the grain and warmth show through
Background: hand-painted in your chosen color (see the color list)
A generous coat of sealer on the front; back is left unfinished
Routed keyhole notch on the back — hangs straight, centered, flush to the wall with a nail, screw, or even a pushpin
Interior use recommended. For outdoor use, finish with an exterior sealer like marine spar urethane.
How to order
Pick a size and a background color
In the personalization box, enter your sign text exactly as you want it carved (one line)
Add your font choice if you have one — default is Canson. Other fonts shown in our font reference image.
Want a proof first? Type PROOF in the order note and we'll send one before carving — a cell number speeds things up.
Sizing notes
Sizes are height × width in inches. Boards are roughly 3/4" thick. Keep your line length in mind — the 3.5x12 is for a very short line of copy. If your text won't fit cleanly we may substitute a more condensed or expanded font, or add a small flourish where there's empty space.
